I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural concentration) while working as full-time practicing engineer at AECOM in Baltimore, MD. I am originally from Rochester, NY and completed my undergraduate studies at Syracuse University. I currently have six years of experience as a structural engineer for AECOM’s Water Business Line in the DC Metro Area. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Maryland, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia. As a structural engineer for AECOM, I have engaged in work involving structural design and analysis of hydraulic and building structures, risk and vulnerability assessments, infrastructure resiliency and research, post-disaster forensic engineering studies, building code research, and mitigation against man-made threats and natural hazards.

Prior to working for AECOM/URS, Mr. Walker completed a construction management internship with Dubai Contracting Company overseas in Dubai, UAE in 2008. Furthermore, he worked as a construction inspector with the New York State Department of Transportation while studying civil engineering from 2008-2009.
