Full Name

Dr. Sohraab Soltani received his B.E. degree (Hons.) from the Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2003 and M.S and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University (MSU) in 2009. Due to his outstanding research effort, he has received a prestigious dissertation completion award from MSU. Dr. Soltani’s research interests include computer security, stochastic models, data mining, statistical information inference, wireless video and cognitive mobile communications, ad-hoc and sensor networks and protocol design. He has extensive knowledge in computer security, anomaly and intrusion detection, protocol design, statistical data analysis, computer networking and wireless multimedia communication and has published several papers in competitive conferences and journals in these areas. Dr. Soltani has been a PI or Co-PI in several NSF, SBIR and STTR projects.
