Dr. Christopher Ackermann is a Lead Applications Engineer at CACI. He received his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. For eight years he worked as a research scientist at the Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering where he transferred knowledge and technologies from research to practice primarily in the context of aerospace and automotive systems. His primary research focus was on both structural and behavioral analysis of software architectures to identify and resolve quality issues, such as maintainability, performance and reliability. He has also managed several software development projects where he was involved in all phases of the software lifecycle. At CACI, Dr. Ackermann is involved in designing advanced knowledge management solutions.
